Valerie’s worked hard over the years. She dedicated herself fully to being a caregiver in her community. But it was not just her work that defined her; it was her heart. Valerie had a remarkable ability to make anyone feel like family. She had the gift of turning acquaintances into lifelong friends, and those friends into cherished members of her chosen family.
