Valerie's obituary
Valerie Kay Kinker, 46, went to sleep in peace and without pain the morning of June 1, 2025. Valerie was loved by many, including her son (Ivan), Father (Michael Kinker), mother (Carol Matthews), her sister (Angelique), her close companion and friend Christian, as well as her aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was treasured by her grandmothers (Kathleen & Norma) and her grandfathers (Carl & Frank), who preceded her in death. Many remember her from a very young age being a creative, intelligent, sweet and thoughtful girl. She was a skilled artist (painting and murals), musician, great cook, lover of animals, and was someone who would always share what she had with others. There is so much we can say about "Val," but what we can all agree on, is that we won't be the same without her.
Val fought a cruel illness that affected her & her family for many years. At the end of her illness she was peaceful, relaxed and was no longer suffering, sleeping soundly.
Now, we wait with eager anticipation to see her again when she wakes up when “all things are made new” (Revelation 21:3-5). Val will then get to experience a peaceful new world, as well as a healthy mind and body in harmony with God's original purpose for humans and the earth (Genesis 1:28; Psalm 37:10,11,29).
She will get the fresh start that we all LONG to see her have. We will miss her SO very much until that time comes.
