Valerie Flotron, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, teacher, coworker, and friend, passed away on May 11, 2024. Born on November 3, 1962, Valerie lived a life defined by love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends. Her passing leaves an immense void, but her memory continues to inspire all who knew her.
Valerie is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Flotron, and her beloved children Michael and Samantha Flotron. Her love for her family was boundless, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that continues to guide them.
She is also survived by her parents, Gloria and Rudolph Mejia, and her siblings David Mejia, Ruben Mejia, and Patricia Mejia-Eikleberry. Their shared history and memories of Valerie will continue to bind them together as they navigate the loss of their beloved daughter and sister.
A commemoration of Valerie's life will begin with a mass at St. Edwards Catholic Church on May 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Finally, a reception to celebrate Valerie's life will be held at the American Legion Post 742 in Corona at 2:00 PM. These gatherings not only mark the passing of a remarkable woman but also celebrate her life and the love she shared with those dear to her.
