As an active attendee of Holy Family Catholic Church in South Pasadena, California, Valentina was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her involvement in the church extended to her participation in various church activities, where her infectious enthusiasm and commitment inspired those around her.

Valentina's devotion to enriching the lives of others was also evident through her tireless volunteer work at Young Audiences of San Diego, now known as Arts for Learning San Diego. This charitable organization benefits countless young minds, fostering a love for the arts and providing cultural experiences for children in the community. Valentina took great joy in sharing her passion for creativity with others.

A true connoisseur of the arts, Valentina's favorite artistic medium was the piano. Her appreciation for the beauty and expressive power of this instrument was well known among her friends and fellow volunteers. She believed that music, and the arts as a whole, had the ability to unite and uplift the human spirit.

Outside of her work at the church and her support for the arts, Valentina cherished the fun and camaraderie of board games. Her love for these games, spanning from classic strategy games to newer innovative ones, provided her, her family, and her friends with countless hours of joy and laughter.

Valentina Penzias will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.
