Our beloved Valentina Giuroiu known to her friends and family as Val, was born July 21st, 1979 in Bucurest, Romania to Stela and Remi Giuroiu, sister to Alan and Andrei Giuroiu. She and her parents came to the United States in 1980 to Illinois where they resided several years in Wheeling as well as Vernon Hills and her parents eventually settling long-term in Zion, Ilinois.  Val departed this world too soon at the age of 46, on August 10, 2025, at her home in Sturtevant, Wisconsin due to complications with her health. She left behind a legacy of warmth and kindness and the memories of her joyous laughter and sweet smile.

Val's radiant personality and infectious giggle filled any room she entered. She had the ability to make anyone feel significant and cherished. She was the epitome of sincere kindness and empathy, always showing love without judgment and instilling joy even during hard times.

Nothing made Val happier than spending time with her friends and family, laughing, playing board games, looking at old pictures, hanging out together just talking, and being the beloved "Auntie Val" to all kids in her life. Val had an appreciation for arts, particularly crafts, pastels, and nature-related pieces that reminded her of God’s goodness and creativity.

She found beauty in everything. However, Val's most stunning attribute was her golden heart. Described as radiating warmth and kindness, her giggle was known to light up any room. Empathetic to the core, she would cry when you did and laugh alongside you.

Among her many wonderful qualities, her place as friend, cousin, niece, and "Auntie" to so many stood out. She never forgot a birthday - a testament to how much she remembered and loved everyone in her life. Val's legacy is one of kindness, a joyful spirit despite circumstances, and an ever-present willingness to help and be there for others. Her radiant presence, love, and dependability are irreplaceable - a true diamond in the rough, an empty space that will never be filled. We will forever miss her and look so forward to reuniting with her one glorious day in Paradise!

Precious Val, even though you are gone, you will forever be in our hearts!

We invite all who cherished Val to join us in a ceremony of remembrance at Forest Preserve Bible Church on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 2p.m., where we will share stories, laughter, and tears, just as Valentina would have wished.
