Mrs. Cano was born Oct. 22, 1928, in Bee County to Agapito and Maria (Soliz) Gonzales. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a Guadalupana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Manuel W. Cano.

Survivors include a son, Juan (Isabel Cristina) Cano of Austin; a daughter, Adelaida (Domingo) Castillo of Indiana; a brother, Pablo Gonzales of Skidmore; grandchildren, Tina Denbina, Olivia Denbina, Juan Manuel Cano Jr., …
