Valencia "Vale" Vecchione passed away at the age of twenty five of late stage ovarian cancer on July 26th, 2023 with her sister Zoey at her side. Vale was a larger than life individual that truly lived between the ticks of the clock and would often describe herself as being "all gas, no brakes". She will be remembered for her ability to brighten anyone's day and friends described her as being the life of the party. Her razor sharp intellect and knowledge of world events lead her to contribute to political activism both locally and during national assemblies in Washington, D.C. She was deeply passionate about biochemistry, which filled her time both professionally and personally.

Vale was preceded in death by her father Arturo, twin sister Violet, and her brother Chris. She is survived by her sister Zoey.

There will be no services for Vale at her request. As a final request, Vale has asked for donations to be made to the Intersex Human Rights Fund - Astraea Foundation and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network.
