In Loving Memory of Valdo Miguel Espadas
5/16/1943 - 7/4/2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Valdo Miguel Espadas, who peacefully departed from this world on July 4th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind a profound legacy of kindness, courage, and love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Valdo Miguel was born on May 16, 1943, at 11:00 am, to Francisca Briceño De Espadas and Bartolo Espadas Arjona, in Holca, a small rural town in Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. From a young age, he exemplified resilience and determination.
As a young boy, he worked diligently to support his family and his siblings' upbringing. Throughout his life, he pursued various careers until discovering his lifelong passion for cars. He worked as a mechanic for many years until his retirement. Valdo Miguel was dedicated to his crafts and passions, but his greatest devotion was to his faith, family, and responsibilities within his local congregation.
As a Father, Husband, and Son, Valdo Miguel was a pillar of unwavering support. His love for his wife Paula, his children Ruby, Michael, and Daisy, his grandchildren Joshua, Suanney, Isabella, Gabriel, and Valentino, great-grandchild Jayden, as well as all of his lifelong friends and brethren, knew no bounds. His wisdom and guidance will continue to resonate within their hearts, guiding them through life's journey.
In celebrating Valdos’ life, we remember a man of integrity, warmth, and boundless love. Though we mourn his loss deeply, we find comfort in the countless memories and lessons he has left us. His spirit will forever inspire us to live with kindness, compassion and strength, just as he did.
