In loving memory of our beloved Mom & cherished Grandmother Urszula Zarzeczna (née Czerska) born April 8, 1935 - passed away July 9, 2023

Mrs. Zarzeczna of Chicago passed away peacefully at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois aged 88 of natural causes. She was surrounded by her loved ones and those who cared for her in the last months of her life.

Urszula was born on April 8, 1935 in Poland to Albina & Antoni Czerski both deceased. She was a long time Chicago (Garfield Ridge) resident and worked in real estate for many years. 

Urszula was dearly loved and cherished by her family. She enjoyed a wonderful life of activities, nature, traveling & spending quality time with those that she loved. Urszula was a very generous person and helped many people during her life. She enjoyed cooking, hosting & entertaining quests and relaxing in her blooming Chicago garden during summer months. She took pride in her home. 

30 Gregorian Masses (1 each day consecutively for 30 days) were offered up for the repose of Urszula's soul beginning July 18 till August 18, 2023 at St. Faustina Kowalska Roman Catholic Parish 5252 S. Austin ave in Chicago, Illinois.

Urszula was preceded in death by both parents and her siblings who awaited her arrival in heaven & her long time companion. She is survived by her daughter Grace Czersky & one grandson both of Chicago and other relatives and friends in Chicago area, Germany and Poland.

Urszula's funeral took place on Friday July 21, 2023 and her cremated remains were interred in a Columbarium Niche at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, Illinois.
