Background
Urso Stephen Chappell was born into this world with nothing, but during his life, as one of the leading experts on World’s Fairs, he amassed a collection of research, documentation and memorabilia.
The World’s Fair, Graphic Design, Rollercoaster, Star Trek, Olympic and LGBT communities have lost a key member who has left behind a tremendous legacy.
Help is needed to pay for Funeral and Estate expenses, including hosting for Expomuseum.com and transfer of his World’s Fair collection to Cal State Fresno by March 1, 2020.
Approximate costs are:
$1500: Cremation and Urn. Yes, getting cremated is cheaper in San Francisco than renting.
$500: Transfer of his World’s Fair collection of research and materials, both physical and digital.
$500: Expomuseum.com hosting for a year, or until a suitable steward can be found to take it over.
$2500: Estate closing expenses, i.e. apartment cleanout, item storage and disposal.
