Ural's obituary
Ural Lee Richey, Jr. was born June 10, 1971 to Ural Lee Richey, Sr. and Lillian “Carol” (Addison) Richey in Clinton, OK. He passed away November 17, 2023 in El Reno, OK at the age of 52. Jr grew up in Geary, Oklahoma where he graduated in 1989 from Geary High School. Upon graduation, he joined the US Army National Guard, where he served in Field Artillery. In 1999, Jr. met Michelle Lerma and in April 2012 they were joined in holy matrimony. They raised 12 kids. Jr. was employed by Tanko Company where he became everybody’s favorite plumber for several years. He then decided he would further his career with the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes, where he worked for economic development, and later moved to the water department. Jr. also participated in his Northern Arapaho ceremonies where he completed his vows. Jr. was the Richey BBQ Pit Master. He enjoyed his job, watching WWE, and his favorite thing to do was spending time with his family.
Jr. is survived by his mother, Carol Richey of Geary, OK, his wife, Michelle Richey of the home, Geary, OK, 11 children: Kristian, Linda, Carmelita, Adrian, KJ, Uriah, Mallory, Shanelle, Lilliana, Liani, and Clifford; 10 grandkids; 8 sisters: Freda Henderson, Jewel Clark, RaDonda Kay Richey, Rachel Williams, Virginia Richey, Deana Richey, Charleta Richey, and Robazena Richey; one brother, Jesse Thunderbull, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, with a host of family and relatives.
Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Ural Lee Richey, Sr., Aunt, Zella Addison-Pekah, sister, Eugenia “Janelle” Gibson, son, Damon Lee Richey, and granddaughter, Reileigh Shouek..
