TYRONE WORD JR., 35, of Gary, IN passed away on December 25, 2023 from domestic violence.   TYRONE was born to Sharon Comer and Tyrone Word Sr.  As a child Tyrone, was involved in many sport activities  from biddy basketball, little league and football for Pulaski Middle School.  Tyrone continued  playing sports for Roosevelt and Griffith High School. Tyrone, went on to complete his education and receive his diploma from Calumet High School.    As life went on Tyrone loved spending time with his two children Tyree and Aleiah.   

Tyrone was proceeded in death by his father Tyrone Word Sr., Grandfather Larry Steele and Auntie Tammy Word.  Tyrone leaves to cherish his precious memories; Mother, Sharon Comer, four sisters, Tytiaira Word, Jasmine S. Hubbard, Shelita McDaniel and Merri McDaniel, three brothers Darien Comer, D'Monte Comer and Jeffery McDaniel, one son Tyree Word, one daughter, Aleiah S. Word and a host of relatives, friends and associates.
