In loving memory of Mr. Tyrone "Pee Wee" Nelson, a man of resilience, passion, and boundless love for his family, departed from us on February 22, 2024. Born on April 30, 1959, Pee Wee, as he was affectionately known by many, became a beacon of strength and kindness to all who had the fortune to cross his path.

Fondly remembered for his welcoming smile and outgoing personality, Pee Wee held an undeniable passion for life and those around him. A dedicated family man, he leaves behind a lasting legacy of love. He is survived by his beloved mother, Melissa Nelson and his cherished daughters, Octavia Mercer and Nicole Turner. His legacy also endures through two Aunts, Vivian and Thelma, three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Well-known for his love for Cornish Hens, Pee Wee's favorite recreational activities were reading and playing chess. A devoted fan of the Houston Texans, he often enjoyed spending his leisure time engaged in watching their games. His favorite TV show, BET Sister's, was a testament to his strong connection to his roots.

Pee Wee's favorite vacation spot was Philadelphia, often adorned in his favorite color, blue. The causes he cared about were incredibly close to his heart, with particular emphasis on the wellbeing of his mother, indicating his deep sense of loyalty and love for his family.

His personality was filled with warmth and compassion, and he held stern beliefs in resilience. Pee Wee's life lesson to all was to live with fortitude, no matter what life threw at them. One of his greatest accomplishments in life includes mentoring young men, imparting his wisdom to the next generation.

Pee Wee's life was a testament to his strength and resilient character. His loss is deeply felt by all, but his spirit and teachings continue to inspire and guide us. As we remember him, let us honor his legacy by embodying the wisdom he shared and the love he demonstrated towards all.
