I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Tyler Youngkin. My parents, Lucy and Jerry Heard, were so fond of both Tyler and Connie, and of course, held them in high regard  for all their good works and sharing of time and treasure.

My deepest sympathy to the whole family.

Nan Heard.

I also just heard of Tyler’s passing.  I was a Madison Rose Lane classmate in grade school.  I am so sad for your loss.  Your parents together made a beautiful team in Gods army.  Am very blessed and proud to know your father and mother Connie.  I find comfort in knowing where his home is now …….

I just learned about the passing of Tyler. So sorry for your loss. Tyler and I played on the high school baseball team. He was a great friend and teammate during high school. He was a fun person and so easy to be around. I remember he had such a joyful and fun personality.  I guess we all lose track of our classmates, but I did learn at some point that he was a physician and about his clinical work in Mexico. I'm sure he will be missed by many because he gave so much to so many.

So sorry to hear about Tyler's passing.  He was a great man who followed where God wanted to go.  I'm sure that god will be telling him, "Well done My faithful servant!" I've known Tyler since Central High.  We even worked in the grape fields for 2 weeks after graduation, driving to the fields together at 5;30 AM and driving home at 7:30 to get some rest and do it again the next day!  He was so much fun to be with!  I lost track of him after college started, but found out about his retirement and  the work he had started in Mexico.  We corresponded several times and a few years ago I was able to visit him at the orphanage community he had developed, and I was able to entertain the kids (and Tyler, too) with a comedy magic show. On that day I noticed how much he looked like his Dad.  I thought I'd get to see him a lot after that day, but life seemed to get in the way.   I'm so blessed to know him and  much of his family.  He was so respected by everyone at Central.  I can still see him wrestling and giving it everything he had!  He ended his life still being respected.  Tyler, I love ya' man!  If Connie or anyone who is in contact with her reads this, will you please ask her to e-mail me.  I lost their address a while ago when I got  a new computer.  I found out about Tyler while trying to contact them by looking on google.

Tyler was a great and dear friend for almost 50 years. I watched his children grow up and was blessed to be part of the love he brought to everything. We were colleagues and car pool buddies who would laugh like mad when he missed my turnoff because we were talking about life.  I will keep him and his family in my heart forever.
