Tyler's obituary
Following in the footsteps of his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, Tyler loved being outdoors. Whether he was hunting or fishing or gardening or grilling or just enjoying fresh air, Tyler loved being a part of God's beautiful creation. And while he relished time to relax, he never shied away from an honest, hard day of work; he spent much of his adult life working for Brown-Forman Cooperage. Tyler also loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers, doing projects at home, working on cars, his country, and far above everything else, he loved his family.
He was an utterly devoted father, husband, brother, son, and friend. Tyler was a gentle spirit who loved others deeply, and taking another cue from his extensive family, he offered shelter, compassion, and grace to others on many occassions.
Tyler leaves behind a giant hole in the hearts of his children, Kaycee, Alayna, Elijah, and Monty; parents, Jim and Carol Teske of Bardstown; younger brother, Jonathon Teske (Lindsey Lawrence) of Bardstown; his "double" Teske family in Wisconsin; and aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends who are too plentiful to count, but significant in affection. There were so many beloved people there to welcome him to Heaven, but especially delighted would have been his four grandparents, Ray and Mary Evelyn Hilbert, and Bud and Merle Teske.
His funeral service will be 11 am Friday August 2, 2019 at Nelson Christian Church. Pastor Mark Jones will officiate. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Thursday August 1 at Barlow Funeral Home and 9:30 - 11 am at Nelson Christian Church on Friday August 2.
