I only knew Tyler in his work installing carpet in our church, the last 36 hours of his life. We talked and he told me of his daughter and their love. I watched his work ethic - and the skill and strength he exhibited. He was working alone while his brother went to a medical appointment, pushing a very heavy floor scraper. He did not sit down, take a break, all while pushing the stubborn machine. His brother returned and took over, asking Tyler if he had deselected the machines brake. They both laughed - and I only mention this because it showed the strong bond of the brothers. The work was done, they left to return in the morning. I liked Tyler, his enjoyment of life, and am saddened by his loss that night.
