My sincerest condolences to Tyler’s family and those who loved him. While I haven’t seen him in many years, he spent a good deal of time in our home when he was in high school, and his love of the outdoors was evident even then. The photos show as he had a too-brief life in a place he loved.

Oh Tyler I have been putting this off long enough because I just didn't want it to be true. But today they will celebrate your life in Yellowstone Country where you and that beautiful girl Carrie have called home and made so many friends and memories. I had the pleasure of getting to know Carrie at Nicole's wedding last year that I am so glad I got to go to because I got to see you. It was so so very good to see you again as I had not seen you in a very long time. We all had so very much fun. Watching you and Carrie together ❤️ just made my heart so happy as she loves you so much. Carrie I want to thank you for being there for Tyler . I also want to send you my very deepest condolences because I know how much you love him. I can't say loved because we all still do love him and always will as we will all keep his memories alive. Tyler I am so glad that Grandma Behm and Grandma Vitt were waiting for you at the golden gate because kid it doesn't get any better than that. Tim, Chris, Nicole & Matt I am so very very sorry that you all are going through this. My heart is breaking for you all. I love you all so very very much. Kyle I am also sorry you are going through this as I know you and Tyler were very close. So Tyler I guess I have to say goodbye even though I have put it off but I love you dearly kid and I know heaven just gained one hell of a good angel. I miss you kid more than you will ever know.

Tyler was the first grandchild on the Vitt side and he was a leader from the start. He took the lead on any and all adventures and never looked back. In 2009 I was deployed and after an R & R visit back to the states, I asked him if he wanted a free trip to Alaska to escort his three younger cousins back home. I think it may have been his first, or pretty close to it, airplane trip. He didn't hesitate. I knew my children were in good hands. Only later did I learn of the slight mishap at the airport: one of my kids had a wooden rubber band "gun" along and Tyler figured, "just put it in your backpack, it'll be fine". Well, I guess it caused a bit of a commotion when it was x-rayed; but in the end, they all made it safely to Alaska! What a responsible, sincere, extraordinary young man. He will be greatly missed. We love you Tyler. Heartfelt condolences to Carrie, Tim, Chris, Nicole and Matt. Love, Aunt Pam V. and Scott, and your French cousins

I have known Tyler for many years. Although my experiences with Tyler have only been on work sites, we always made time to share our common love for the outdoors and our love ones. He had never met my beautiful Karen but always asked about her and also shared stories about Carey , who i had never met, and their fuzzy friends.
The man was a skilled professional in his trade and and other tasks as well. More importantly Tyler is was the kind of guy, that i believe all men should want to be. Honest, loving, good sense of humor, professional, and of course that drive for the outdoors and adventure. We have all lost an amazing friend.... i miss him so much....

Tyler had a chance to live his life as he dreamed. Our sympathy goes out to Chris, Tim, Nicole, & Matt and Carrie. May you all be proud of the man Tyler became and keep all the wonderful memories of him close to your heart always. Love all of you.
