Twyla Jean Muhlhauser, age 48, of Aberdeen passed away peacefully at home on February 11th, 2023, losing her battle with cancer. Twyla was born January 16th, 1975 to Orren and Sherlee (Serben) Deskins in Goldendale, WA. Twyla graduated from Concrete High School in 1993. After graduation, Twyla's career included working as a cna, a fish processor in Alaska, then as a pharmacy tech at Valu Drug in Montesano. Finally Twyla worked as a sales associate at Aberdeen Walmart before becoming a homemaker for the past several years. Twyla married Don (Donnie) Muhlhauser jr., with whom she had two children, Justin and Jayden. After divorce, Twyla had a third child, Danika, with her partner, Lance.

Although Twyla’s greatest love in life was her own three children, she also had a true love for any of the other children she knew and always was available to care for them. She spent much time as a nanny for friends and family. She also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, weekend getaways to the beach, and anything to do with family. Twyla had a great sense of humor, always making the people she was around laugh.

Twyla is survived by her significant other Lance Robertson of Aberdeen; children Justin Muhlhauser of Elma; Jayden Muhlhauser of Elma; Danika Robertson of Aberdeen; Step-children Mackenzie Robertson of Elma; Mylee Robertson of Montesano; and Jake Woods of Hoquiam. Siblings Debbie Washburn, Cynthia Jones , Wendy Jackson-Arnett, Flint Mitchell, Odie Jackson, Dawn White, and James Pesta. Twyla also had numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews she loved and adored. Twyla was preceded in death by her father, Orren Deskins and mother, Sherlee (Serben) Deskins.

A celebration of life for Twyla is planned on June 3rd, 2023 at Friends Landing in Montesano, WA. with more details to follow in the upcoming months.
