Tuliga's obituary
In profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Tuliga "Dj 1 slippa" Fuega who transitioned into eternal rest on the 12th of November, 2025. Tuliga was born in the year 1980 and grew to embody a personality full of love, positive energy, and empathy. His humor, jovial spirit, and care made him feel like a big teddy bear to those around him. His life mantra focused on spreading positivity, mutual love, and understanding, a part of his personality that stood as a beacon, illuminating the lives of others.
Whether reminding us to not judge anyone or teaching us to cherish each other, Tuliga's life lessons continue to guide us daily. He lived a life full of accomplishments, most notably fatherhood, years of dedicated service at the VA hospital, being a beloved uncle, an extraordinary DJ, and a compassionate sibling, son, father, uncle, friend, and neighbor. But above all, his generosity left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Despite his own circumstances, he would never hesitate to extend help to those in need.
Tuliga's legacy can't be confined to words. It's a legacy of an unblemished spirit that loved without judgment, of a generosity that knew no bounds. Indeed, love sees no wrong in the eyes of such a beautiful spirit. He is survived by his son, Elvin Fuega, father Tuliga Sr. Fuega, Step-mother Marilyn Fuega, siblings; Roy & Margo Fuega, June Fuega & Gabriel Rodriguez, Adelyn Fuega, Eric & Rosa Fuega, and his loving Nieces, grand-nieces, Nephews and grand-nephews who holds dear the memories of his incredible life.
A memorial service to celebrate the life and legacy of Tuliga will be held on November 24, 2025, at 2:00pm at the La Mesa Community Center. To honor Tuliga's enduring spirit of altruism, in lieu of flowers, we are raising funds for family and friends' donations. Further details regarding this can be found at: https://everloved.com/life-of….
As we continue to remember and celebrate Tuliga, let us strive to perpetuate his lessons of love, positivity, and generosity in our own lives. His memory and spirit will forever remain etched in our hearts.
