1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
Our beloved Tsese was a true joy to know and love.
Tsese had an infectious sense of humor and always brought an air of happiness into the room. People would naturally gravitate toward her. She loved making others laugh as she was quick witted, silly, and comical. Regardless of the subject or matter at hand she’d always manage to find a way to slide in a joke or two. Laughter was always a comfortable space for her. She'd use any opportunity to make others laugh. Tsese had a fun-loving spirit.
Not only was Tsese a "self- proclaimed" comedian, but she was also the epitome of love and sentiment. Tsese showed her love for others in abundance...she loved for real, and she loved hard. There's no doubt that those closest to her would agree she was overly yet lovingly affectionate sometimes to the degree of annoying. She would want to hug your neck, kiss your face, or just be as close as you'd allow...often in excess. Whether you wanted it or not, you couldn't help but give in to her. To say she truly cherished her loved one's is an understatement. She was very protective and would stand with you through thick and thin.
Tsese was also extremely sentimental, even the smallest of things such as handwritten messages, pictures, trinkets, etc. meant so much to her. She’d keep items such as this and others for ever just for the sentiment behind it. The way in which Tsese loved was heartwarming. She made it difficult not to reciprocate.
Tsese meant so much to so many. She was thoughtful, caring, kind and very giving. She was always willing to help those in need, giving from her heart and expecting nothing in return. Giving to others came easy and natural for her. She was a huge supporter in the success of others, especially to the young people in her life. She had a really big heart.
Fun Facts:
Not many are aware, but Tsese also had a hidden talent. She enjoyed drawing and painting in her free time. Although she kept her work private, she enjoyed it and would cleverly dote on her creations from time to time.
Tsese's favorite movie was Vampire in Brooklyn. She was not a fan of anything that sounded like it could be scary, but she loved to cuddle up next to a warm body to watch a good movie.
Tsese also had an eye for fashion, and she loved to smell good. She had her very own unique style and always wore it well. One of her favorite fragrances was Channel No. 5. She would fill the room with whatever scent she was wearing for the day.
She loved comfort foods; soups were a favorite of hers.
Tsese loved to have fun and would do so however she could so long as she was with good company. She was a terrible dancer, but she had no problem with trying and laughing at herself. She couldn't swim but she'd go out in the water simply because she didn't want to miss out on the fun.
Tsese found ways to make her own version of fun. The simplest form of fun for Tsese is the one that will be missed the most...the phone call where she talked, laughed, joked, reminisced, and always ended with...I love you.
Revelation 21:4
God will take away all their tears. There will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All the old things have passed away.”
