Trudy's obituary

Trudy Jolaine Starcher, born on February 16, 1950, went home to meet the Lord on August 22nd, 2025.

A faithful member of the Gaysport United Methodist Church, Trudy loved her church family and devoted her life to serving the Lord through acts of kindness compassion and care. She had a deep passion for helping others especially the homeless and was always there with the booming hand and a generous heart Trudy’s greatest joy was her family and the countless memory she shared with them.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who brought immense happiness to her life.

Grandson Bradley Devon Roberts and his wife Elizabeth-Grace Murphy Roberts

Great-grandchildren Lydia jane Ruffner and Natalie Selene Ruffner

Son Jeffery Blaine Faulkner and his wife Lizel Daponoay Faulkner

Grandsons Jordan Neal Faulkner and Austin Blaine Faulkner

Granddaughters Brianna Jezel Faulkner and Allison Zyrell Faulkner

Trudy is also survived by her sisters, Linda Powers and Debbie Nimmo. Her sisters-in-law, Wanda Sue Greenhill and Nancy parker, her brother-in-law Chuck Starcher, and his wife Nedi – Along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her life-long partner Frank Greenhill

Trudy will be remembered for her selflessness, her love for the lord and her devotion to family and community.

A memorial service will be held at Trudy’s residence in Philo on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
