Background
On the morning of New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2020, Troy Trent was on his way home from serving the Lafayette community in his role as firefighter when he was killed in an unexpected motor vehicle accident. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Casie, and school aged sons, Cole and Owen. Through this devastation and grief the family is navigating, we ask for monetary donations to help alleviate the unexpected financial hardship this brings so that Casie, Cole, and Owen can focus on the emotional pain and healing through this time of loss. No matter large or small, any donation is greatly appreciated and will be deposited directly to a bank account set up in memory of Troy for direct support of his wife and children. This website does not profit off your donations, and all amounts go directly towards the family. We thank you for your generosity during this tragic time, and want you to know how much of a difference your donations will make in the lives of Casie, Cole, and Owen. With your donations and sharing of this page and information to get the word out to others, we can wrap our arms around this family in support and comfort in this time of need.
