In loving memory of Troy Albert Stansberry, Jr., who peacefully passed away on November 26, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents "Buck" and Jeanne Stansberry and sister, Carmen. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 46 years, Cathy, and sons Todd(Charlene) and Craig(Jessie). Troy was the proud and affectionate granddad to Braden, Hannah, Quinn, Harper, Benjamin, and Theo. In addition he is survived by his brother Bruce, who resides in Florida.

Troy was born in Joliet, Illinois, and raised in College Park, Georgia. An avid Bulldog fan and Campus Crusader for Christ, he graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972. Following in his father's footsteps,Troy's young adult life was marked by his passion for flying, earning his license and instructor's license at an early age. He also shared his father's love for the game of golf.

Todd and Craig felt Troy's nurturing parenting in all aspects of childhood. Troy was very involved with their sports, enthusiastically coaching them, and wholeheartedly supporting them and cheering them on through collegiate baseball and into Craig's professional career. Troy is dearly loved and will be profoundly missed.
