Troy Wayne Montaño, 55, a resident of Mesa, AZ entered eternal rest Wednesday, August 1,2018 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1963 in El Paso, TX to Larry Montaño and Lula Rogers. Troy was raised in Bayard and attended Silver Schools. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a truck driver with Aims Companies. He loved the outdoors. Enjoyed camping, grilling and cooking. He is survived by his companion Tonna Valentine of the family home; two daughters, Desiree (Dee Dee) McClure, and Tracy Dawn Montaño; one son, Larry James (LJ) Montaño; five grandchildren, Kayla and Jacob McClure, Cori Owens, Bella and Adam Montaño; one sister, Tracy Manning and companion Ray Skaggs; two brothers, Roger and Larry (Dino) Montaño. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Lula R. Montaño.
