Troy's obituary
Troy Patrick Foster, of Phoenix, was born on May 5, 1970 in Prescott, AZ and unexpectedly passed away on December 13, 2025.
Troy was an incredible friend, uncle, brother-in-law and, most of all, a proud and loving father to his four children: Luke, Lily, Henry, and Eli. His quick wit and unfiltered humor were unmatched and adored by all who had the privilege to know him. Troy lived boldly, as if there were no tomorrow, and his personality could take over any setting he entered.
Troy graduated from Prescott High School in 1988. He attended Northern Arizona University as a Flynn scholar and graduated in 1993. He deeply cherished his time interning for congressman Kolbe. Troy then went on to earn his law degree at Arizona State University in 1996. He took much pride in his profession and was recognized as one of “The Best Lawyers in America.”Among his many accolades, he was an author, a professor, an activist, a musician, and an American Sign Language aficionado.
One accomplishment rose above the rest during Troy’s life: being a father. Every waking moment of Troy’s life revolved around his four children. Troy’s legacy lives on in the four that he poured his all into. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.
