Tresa's obituary
It is with profound grace and acceptance of God's will that we announce the peaceful passing of Tresa Moore, on March 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Leodis and Annie Barnes on June 16, 1953, Tresa lived a substantive and impactful life, offering love, warmth, and support to those fortunate to have known her.
Tresa was an attendee of the Spirit of Life Church, where she served empathically as a minister. Her devotion, faith, and spiritual guidance positively impacted many lives, bringing enlightenment and solace. An educator at heart, she used her wisdom and compassion to inspire and shape young minds. Always willing to lend a hand and offer a kind word, Tresa will be fondly remembered for her selfless service to her community.
Tresa's life philosophy was simple yet profound; she believed in leaving people better than you found them, a testament to her caring nature. This belief was a motif in all she did, a legacy that echoes in the life of everyone she interacted with. Her warm heart and loving spirit were contagious, and she consistently made a conscious effort to spread love and positivity.
Remaining to celebrate her life and cherish her memory are her loving children Alton Moore II, Erik Moore and Tiffany (Tony) Phillips. They honor the life of their beloved mother, recognizing her undying love for them and the life lessons she passed on. Tresa was predeceased by her mother, Annie Barnes, whom she held in deep reverence.
In remembrance of Tresa, let us always strive to uplift each other, spread love, and challenge ourselves to leave every person we encounter better than we found them. Her life was a testament to love, service, and faith, and she will remain in our hearts forever.
