Trenton's obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Trenton Allan Harrison on December 20, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer. Trenton was born on August 17, 1973, in Hornell, NY, and spent his life spreading love, laughter, and inspiration to all who knew him.
His education spanned continents and institutions, reflecting his lifelong dedication to learning. He graduated from Wiesbaden High School in Wiesbaden AB, Germany, and pursued studies at Nebraska Christian College. He later earned degrees from Johnson University and completed Colorado EMT certification through Granby EMS, further showcasing his passion for serving others.
Trenton’s professional journey reflected his diverse talents and adventurous spirit. He held positions at Winter Park Ski Resort, Louie’s Backyard in South Padre Island, Whiskey Rocks, New York Pizza, Aspen Skiing Company, and hosted an open mic at the Red Onion in Aspen for many years. A self-taught musician and singer/songwriter he led several bands, leaving an enduring imprint on the Aspen community through his music.
Trenton embraced a wide array of interests and hobbies. He found joy in music, snowboarding, cycling, scuba diving, rock climbing, reading, and cheering on his favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals. His adventurous spirit and love for the music encouraged and inspired those around him.
In 2010, Trenton married the love of his life, Lauri Ann Jackson. Together they shared a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. Trenton will be remembered for his compassion, kind heart, remarkable achievements, musical talents, and the indelible impact he had on the lives of his family, friends, and community.
Trenton is survived by his wife, Lauri Ann Jackson; his beloved son, Trey Morrissey; his father, Mondo Dennett, of Winter Park, CO; and his mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Gilbert Harrison, of Temple, TX. He is also survived by his two brothers, Todd Harrison of Schertz, TX, and Pastor Trevor Harrison of Rapid City, SD; two sisters, Cayla Holt and Chelsy Baker, both of Belton, TX; and eleven nieces and nephews, all of who will deeply miss his love and guidance.
Trenton was an extraordinary human being and his light will be missed greatly by all those who know him. A celebration of Trenton’s life will be held in Aspen later this summer.
