So very sorry for your loss. I’m sure she will be missed by many who knew and loved her.

Trecia was a beautiful person, inside and out. I was saddened to hear of her passing. I knew her many years ago in the early 70’s. My sympathies go out to her family.

I don't remember when we met, but you were the cousin I loved spending time with. You held a special place in my heart💗. We created beautiful memories that traveled with us throughout the years. Now, so many years later, I can relive those carefree days filled with laughter, whether it was in St. Louis or TN. You always made me feel so special during those times of slumber parties in St. Louis & fun times at your Granny & Gaga Dixon in TN. When I visited St. Louis, there were so many of us, cousins & Ron sitting around watching TV as the smells of home cooking wafted throughout the house. Your visits to TN. allowed me to show you a slower way of life, the freedom of the land, horseback riding🏇, watching the cattle graze in the green pastures🐄. We explored the woods, swinging on huge vines from the trees & balancing on fallen limbs over clear running streams. We really spread our wings once you got your license to drive, always somewhere to go & something to do! Trecia, "The Chauffeur". I also remember epic parties in your basement☮️ The seventies brought us great fashion , hot pants, paisley prints, Nehru collars & bell bottoms😎 Of course, I must say the music from the 70's, continues to be historic. We corresponded by mail through the years. We grew up, started families, staying in touch, always💜 visits less frequent. I was the one that colored outside the lines, you never judged me for the mistakes, failures & bad decisions I made. You encouraged me, no matter what, giving me hope during dark times🥰 I will forever be grateful for your loving kindness & thoughtfulness, sending cards at Christmas & Birthdays. In 2013, you wanted to have Brasher reunion, I got the ball rolling all the way from Austin, sending evites to everyone. It proved to be a great success, so many relatives packed in the pavilion the Sat. before Decoration Day at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The colorful flowers placed on the graves was a colorful display of vast beauty🌺 Now, I think back a couple weeks ago of our long conversation, it was as if time stood still, only briefly, no distance between us! Life is a stopping place, a resting place along the road to eternity. For some the journeys quicker, for some slower. There are no more tomorrows to share but yesterdays memories are always there. The memory of you will live in my heart forever💜 "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" My Love to You for Eternity, Cuz Renee'

My ‘Aunt’ Trecia was one of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever known. Every year she sent my entire family cards and texts on our birthdays, even after we moved further away and rarely saw her. She never missed a single one.
When you spoke with Trecia, she always asked how you were doing and then actively listened, so she could provide a word of encouragement. In a world where it seems everyone is just waiting to talk, that quality always struck me about her; her selflessness. She shared her smile and warm heart with everyone; family, friends, and strangers, alike. The world is a better place because Trecia was in it. We will miss her dearly.
