Travis's obituary

Travis Clayton Ryniak, 47, of Central City passed away on January 27, 2021. He is the son of the late Frank Ryniak and Vickie (Housel) Ryniak Keitz. Travis is survived by his mother; son, Andrew Ryniak; step-father, Brian Keitz; and sisters, Emily (Todd) Coleman of Rio Rancho, NM and Sarah Clark of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by nieces, Caitlyn and Gabrielle Coleman and Sierra Clark; and nephew, Jeremy Clark. Travis is a graduate of Allegany College of Maryland and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa where he excelled in Computer Science. He loved the outdoors and especially loved kayaking. He learned to play the guitar and played for family and friends. Travis made medical history by being the first person to receive a kidney transplant with no prior dialysis at the age of five. In his lifetime, he had three kidney transplants. Although he went through many trials, he never lost his faith in God. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at First United Methodist Church, 149 W. Patriot St., Somerset, PA 15501.
