Travis's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Travis Williams, who left us too soon on November 28, 2023. Born on April 8, 1970, Travis filled his 53 years of life with love, laughter and a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. His sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Travis was a devoted son to his father, Johnny Williams. He shared a unique bond with his mother, Edna Hemm, who preceded him in death. Travis was a caring brother, leaving behind his sisters Bobbie Chapman and Johnnette Williams. Unfortunately, he was also predeceased by his beloved brother Raymond Williams.

One of Travis's greatest joys in life was his own family. He was a proud and doting father to his sons Dwayne Dickerson, Dallas Dickerson, and Jordan Unknown, as well as his daughters, Tisha Dickerson and Nikki Dickerson. He was deeply loved by his eight grandchildren, who will always remember their fun-loving grandfather.

Travis had a magnetic personality that drew people towards him. He was a loving son, brother, soulmate, father, and grandfather. His life was enriched by the simple pleasures of family time, fishing, camping, and immersing himself in many outdoor activities. His love for these activities was infectious, and he created many cherished memories during these shared moments.

Although we mourn the loss of Travis, we also choose to celebrate his life. His legacy is reflected in the love of his family, the joy he found in his hobbies, and the positivity his personality brought to the world around him. Travis Williams, you will be deeply missed, but, your spirit continues to inspire us.
