It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tracy Woods. Born on August 7, 1969, Tracy walked into the arms of the angels on July 10, 2025.

Tracy was a beacon of strength, determination, and cared deeply for others. Her work at Walmart for over a decade was a testament to her perseverance and commitment. Despite the challenges life threw at her, she always faced them head-on, with a smile on her face and determination in her heart.

A passionate supporter of Alabama football and Tennessee basketball, Tracy's enthusiasm for her favorite teams was infectious. Her spirit could light up any room, and her hearty cheers during game seasons will be sorely missed.

Tracy had a fondness for the serenity of the beach, it was one of her favorite vacation spots. The calmness of the ocean waves brought her peace and happiness, and those memories will eternally be cherished by her loved ones left behind.

Tracy had a deep affection for animals. This was a cause close to her heart and she actively worked towards creating better conditions for them. Her compassion and empathy for these innocent beings truly encapsulated her kind and caring nature.

Tracy leaves behind her two loving children, Adriana Verdirame and Brandon Woods. They were the joy of her life, her ultimate pride. She also joins her beloved mother and father, Shirley and Frank Burris, who preceded her in death.

Tracy's legacy of strength, determination, and care will live on through all the lives she touched. Even as we mourn her loss, we celebrate the remarkable life she led and the love she shared with us. She will always be in our hearts.
