Tracy's obituary
Obituary
Tracy Ann Brown ((Terry) 61 of Canisteo passed away Sunday, January 26th peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a short illness.
Tracy was a kind and gentle soul and always putting others before herself. Tracy was very well known in the community for her love for children. Tracy ran her own daycare for many years where she gained and helped raise children as her own. She then went on to work as a substitute and aide at the Canisteo school. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for children.
She also enjoyed gardening, puzzles, redoing furniture, flea markets and just riding around looking at the views of nature.
Her love for animals was heartwarming and there wasn’t a stray she wouldn’t take in; including wildlife. Watching her birds and listening to the wind chimes gave her peace.
Most of all Tracy loved spending time with her grandkids; she was always giving them new nicknames. They were her world.
Tracy is survived by her son Eric Brown (Tonya Wright) her daughter Shelby (Zachary) Whitmore, her grandchildren Ace, Savannah, Zander & Quinn (Brown) McKenzie & Axton (Whitmore) Her sister Marykaye (David) DeSilva, her sister Sally (Mike) Ordway & her sister Kathy Greenfeild, Tracy also had a great amount of nephews and nieces.
