Tracy's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce that Tracy Carol Bermudez, age 59, passed away suddenly on Saturday July 13, 2024 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Tracy was the daughter of Russell and Carolyn Byington and was a 1982 graduate of Lake High School. Tracy spent 20 plus years working at MSC in Walbridge. After retiring she was able to become a very active grandparent and never missed a game or event that her grandkids were in.

Tracy was a fun loving selfless person that would do anything for anyone. She was dedicated to carrying on family traditions, creating memories and capturing sentimental moments. She had quite the talent for taking breathtaking photographs at the perfect times. Tracy was also well known for being the person that made everyone's birthday cake, with the top request being her famous carrot cake. Her soul was an artistic one, and her creativeness touched every aspect of anything that she did. Tracy's personality was always so warm and welcoming. She always went above and beyond to make everyone feel special. Her compassion toward her loved ones showed no bounds. She was a very involved grandma, mother, sister, wife, and friend. She loved the beach and was exceptionally good at finding sharks teeth. Years ago, she was also known for her outstanding fishing skills. One time she was even in a fishing tournament where she out-fished the guys on her team and helped win first prize. She enjoyed listening to her favorite bands Journey, The Eagles and Raspberry Jam.

Tracy is preceded in death by her father, Russel Clyde Byington and nephew Jacob Warren Byington, and leaves behind her fur baby, Jade; Husband, Richard Bermudez; Ex- Husband, Douglas Vincent; Daughter, Kori (James) Fouke; Step-Daughter, Marquita (Kent) Tinsman; Step-Son, Richard Thomas Bermudez; 9 Grandchildren, Khloe, Adalynn and Haley Fouke, Sadie, Riley and Ellie Tinsman, Victoria Reyes, Brayden and Brielle Bermudez; Mother, Carolyn Byington; Brothers, Dennis (Holly) Byington and Douglas Byington and Sisters, Kelly (Gary) Hagen, and Heather (Michael) Adler along with countless friends and family who were blessed to have known her. Tracy’s memory will be a guiding star for all that knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at Millbury Firemans Rec Hall 28410 Oak St. Millbury, OH, 43447 on Saturday, July 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service starting around 3:30.
