Tracie's obituary

Tracie Leigh (Adams) Welch, a beloved wife and devoted mother passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 42. She was born on February 20, 1981, in Houston, TX, the daughter of Craig and Nancy Adams. Tracie was united in marriage on June 4, 2006 in West Palm Beach, FL to Ryan Joseph Welch. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.

Tracie was known for her sweet, compassionate heart. She was beautiful inside and out, bringing joy to all those around her. She touched many lives with her generosity and contagious laugh. Tracie loved the beach and taking family trips. She enjoyed shopping, anything sparkly, her dogs, but most of all cherished time with her family.

Her unwavering love was most evident in her role as an adoring wife to Ryan and a devoted mother to her treasured children, daughter Gracie and son Ryder. Tracie made it her mission to infuse every moment with joy and celebration for her children.

Tracie is preceded in death by her father, Craig Adams. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Ryan Welch, Leander, TX; her children, Gracie Welch (8) and Ryder Welch (8), Leander, TX; mother, Nancy Adams, The Woodlands, TX; sister, Tricia Adams, The Woodlands, TX; brother, Ryan Adams (Rebecca), The Woodlands, TX; and nieces and nephews, Morgan, Presley, Brady, Peyton, Ben, Katelyn, Alexis, Kensie, Preston, Charlotte, Emilia, and Maddyn.

A small private service will be held in Austin, TX, followed by a public celebration of life in The Woodlands, TX, at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the college funds established in honor of Ryder and Gracie, ensuring that Tracie's legacy continues to support the dreams and aspirations of her beloved children.
