Traci's obituary
On May 16th, 1962, Traci was born in Ogden, Utah to Ronald Lee Turpin and D’on Marie Jensen Wachtler. As a graduate from Ogden High School, Traci walked with the Class of 1980. Traci was a gifted athlete and throughout her life had the ability to play almost every sport. An outdoorswoman extraordinaire, Traci was always involved in an adventure, whether it was skiing at Powder Mountain, camping with the horses, boating at Pineview, or simply enjoying the beauty in the nature around her. When she wasn’t on the slopes or “playin’ ball” you could find Traci sunbathing by the pool and teaching generations of her nieces and nephews how to swim. Traci loved to travel and enjoyed her many trips to the Northwest to visit family as well as the memorable Alaskan Cruise and vacation to Hawaii. Later in life, Traci, who was also an avid music lover, found herself in Mesquite, Nevada where she fell in love with singing karaoke at Peggy Sue’s 50's style diner. As well as spending time with her friends and exploring Mesquite, she enjoyed working with her Maverick family. Anyone who knew Traci would know that she had a strong work ethic and a selfless character which we all knew and loved. Traci was always willing to go the extra mile in lending a hand to her family and helping those in need. Traci’s reliability was second to none with her unwavering support in attending family gatherings with a smile and a laugh, no matter how elaborate the occasion was. You could always count on Traci to show up and stand out. Traci touched the hearts of everyone around her and was a true beacon of love.
She is survived by her mother, D’on Marie Jensen Wachtler - UT, her other mother, Patricia Coryell - WA, her sisters, JoAnn Waterfall - UT, Cindilee Turpin-Thomas - VA, Roni Kay Voss (Charlie) - AZ, Julie Potter (Kenny) - UT, and brothers, Cody Coryell-Turpin (Jen) - WA, Cory Coryell-Turpin (Robin) - WA, and many nieces and nephews who adored her. Traci was preceded in death by her beloved father, Ronald Lee Turpin, and her brother-in-law, Neff C. Waterfall as well as her loving grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Starting at 2:00 pm there will be music with mingling and enjoying some of her favorite things.
Traci truly exemplified what it means to be the life of the party, bringing light and joy to those who were fortunate enough to be in her presence. With her witty humor alongside her consistent radiance of love and care for those around her, it is obvious why everyone would be so excited when they heard “Aunt Traci” was coming to visit.
We love you, Aunt Traci.
The family wanted to extend a sincere appreciation for the love and support shown by Maverick and Traci's friends in Mesquite.
