Tonya Lynn Hope Powell, 59, passed away on February 6, 2025, in Seattle, Washington.

Born on January 15, 1966, in Washington, Tonya was a woman full of life and laughter. She had a huge heart and a spirited personality that could brighten any room. Her quick wit and natural comedic charm made her a joy to be around, always bringing smiles to those fortunate enough to know her. Even in the face of illness, she remained resilient—cancer never dimmed her vibrant spirit.

Tonya was a devoted mother to her sons, Zachery Powell and Shawn MacLeod. She was also a loving sister to Roxanne Jack and a cherished aunt to Roberto Jack, Rocio Jack, and Jasmine Jack. She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley William Powell, and her mother, Caroline "Capp" (Powell) Gumm.

Beyond her family, Tonya had an immense love for her dog, Scruffy Doo, whom she adored as if he were her own child. Her warmth and humor left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
