Tonya's obituary

Tonya came into this life just minutes behind her twin sister Sonya which created a lifetime bond. After high school, both entered the Navy and even though they weren’t stationed together, they shared a bond only twins can have. During Tonya’s time in the Navy she had two amazing children Alysia and Myles and met her husband Eric.

After leaving the Navy she moved to Minnesota to spend some time with her sister. Even with Tonya in Minnesota Eric reached out and connected again, they were married on January 1st, 1999. Eric was stationed in San Diego and they moved back to California and formed a stronger bond with her brother Pete. The memories that she created with everyone she touched in this world live on in all of us.

She was proceeded in passing by her Mother Cheryl and Grandson Anthony. She is survived by her husband Eric, daughter Alysia, son Myles, grandson’s Benjamin and Zachary, father David, Sisters Kitty Ann and Sonya, and brother Peter.

There will be a gathering to celebrate her life March 26th, 2024 at the Imperial Beach pier. We plan on having a very informal gathering just before sunset.

Her time on earth may be done but she lives on in the memories we all have in our hearts.
