Tonya's obituary
Tonya Christine Longtine, 43, of Menasha, Wisconsin, sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 11th, 2025
Tonya was born on November 4, 1981 to William and Rhonda Longtine in Marquette, Michigan. Tonya relocated with her family from Michigan to Wisconsin in 1998, and graduated in 2000 from Manitowoc High School. Tonya held positions of care and service over the years, assisting the elderly, hotel industry, office assistant and a child care provider. Tonya’s care of others and wanting what is best for her family is what led Tonya to be her ailing mother’s primary caretaker for the past several years. Tonya’s selfless devotion in providing care and comfort to her mom was a true act of love. Tonya was a sweet, kind soul who would have given you the moon and the stars if she could. She gave with all her heart, and put everything she had into whatever she was working on or interested in. She found joy in the little things and loved her family deeply. Tonya was good at many things but at her best, a crafter, a makeup artist, a jeweler, and ”a pretty princess ballerina” but most importantly she was a Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Friend.
Although Tonya is gone, she will forever live on in our hearts.
She is survived by her Parents; William and Rhonda Longtine, sister(s), Tracy (Jason) Scott, Mandy (John Lehtinen) Matula, brother, Chris (Shauna Severson) Longtine, grandfather; Gerald Longtine, and her nieces and nephews; Ashlynn (Dave Reimer) Fletcher, Briana (Andrew Reinemann) Scott, Hayden (Marinda Muffler) Scott, Brendan Matula, Carter Longtine, Brady Moore, Chelsea Scott, Melanie Longtine, Annabelle Longtine, and Caroline Longtine.
Preceded in death by grandparent(s), Stanley and Betty Kelly, Joann Longtine, Lelia Calvert, aunt, Carol Longtine, uncle, Elmer Hollingshed, niece, Autumn Longtine, and cousin, Brooklyn Houghton.
