Tonna Harris Holbrook
Born November 18th, 1957 to Jimmy and Mattie Harris.
Mrs. Holbrook, also known as Nonna, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven in the late afternoon on Saturday June 22nd 2019 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, surrounded by her beloved family. Mrs. Holbrook (Nonna) loved gardening, sewing, and vacationing to the coast with her family. Nonna was best known for her caring, loving heart. Her home was welcome to all and she shared love and encouragement to everyone she encountered. Nonna spent her life caring for others and she will truly be missed. Mrs. Holbrook was proceeded in death by her parents Jimmy R. Harris – father and Mattie B. Harris – Mother. Surviving are husband Jimmy Holbrook of Elkin, 4 children – Josh & Nicole Harris of Elkin, Jessica Harris of Boonville, Monty Brown of Elkin, Buford Brown of SC. 6 Grandchildren – Caible Groce, Saida Groce, Jocelyn Harris, Maggie Harris, Elijha Burckhalter and Abigail Burckhalter. 1 sister – Tamala Pack (Greg). Nieces and Nephews – Christian Pack, Emily Pack (Jess) and Shadoe Bonin. Arrangements for Mrs. Holbrook will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at United Fellowship Church at 12pm. Address – 3345 Whitaker Rd Boonville, NC 27011. Family will be receiving friends at the church starting at 11am prior to the service. Flowers can be sent to 116 Oakland Blvd. Boonville, NC 27011.
