Things I've learned and still learning from my mom.....

Dear Mom,
As I write this letter, my heart feels heavy, knowing that time with you will be less and less. I've written this over a few weeks, thinking about it several times. Yet, amidst the sadness, I find solace in reflecting on the invaluable lessons you've imparted to me throughout my life. These lessons have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am endlessly grateful for your guidance and love.

One of the most profound lessons you've taught me is how to enjoy the now. Despite the uncertainties and challenges we've faced, you've always shown me the importance of cherishing each moment, finding joy in the simplest of things, like a warm cup of coffee on a cold day or a gentle breeze on a summer afternoon.

Your appreciation for the small, beautiful things in life has left an indelible mark on me. From the vibrant colors of a sunset to the sounds of birdsong in the morning, you've taught me to find beauty in the everyday and to never take these moments for granted.

Your unwavering love for our family has been a guiding light for me. You've shown me how to prioritize their well-being above all else, demonstrating selflessness and sacrifice in every decision you've made. Your example has taught me the true meaning of love and the importance of nurturing the bonds that hold us together.

Etiquette, manners, and class are qualities that you've instilled in me from a young age. Your grace and poise in every situation have shown me the power of kindness and respect, no matter the circumstances. You've taught me to navigate the world with dignity and integrity, leaving a lasting impression wherever I go.

Your creativity and eye for composition have inspired me to pursue my passions wholeheartedly. You've encouraged me to express myself freely, with confidence and to never shy away from my imagination. Your creativity knows no bounds, and I am endlessly inspired by your ability to see the world in such a unique way.

Throughout your life, you've shown me the importance of holding onto lifelong friends. Your loyalty and dedication to those you hold dear have taught me the true value of friendship. You've demonstrated that true friends are like family, offering support and companionship through every trial and triumph.

Determination and persistence are traits that you've embodied in the face of adversity. Despite the challenges you've faced, you've never wavered in your resolve to overcome them. Your resilience has been a source of strength for me, inspiring me to persevere in the face of obstacles and to never lose sight of my goals.

Your resourcefulness and ability to see potential in every situation have taught me to approach life with optimism and ingenuity. You've shown me that there is always a solution to be found, even in the darkest of times. Your ability to adapt and thrive in any circumstance has been a constant source of inspiration for me. You've also shown me how to change and develop for the better. Your willingness to learn and grow, even in the face of adversity, has taught me the importance of self-reflection and personal growth. You've demonstrated that it's never too late to reinvent yourself and to strive for a better tomorrow.

You've also taught me about how to be a parent and grandparent. Your unconditional love and boundless patience with your grandchildren have been a testament. You've shown me the importance of passing down wisdom and love through the generations, leaving behind a strong legacy.
