Toni Faith Marie Fitzgerald passed away on May 31, 2025, at her home in River Oaks in Watertown, MN. She was 68 years old.

Toni was born to Donald and Andrea Fitzgerald on July 5, 1956, in Winona, MN, the second of six children. She graduated from Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa in 1974, and Bemidji State University in 1979, with a degree in Technical Illustration and Commercial Design.

Toni greatest joy was spending time with family, especially time with her son and his wife and her granddaughters. Dining out with her sisters was always a treat for all. Her wit and sense of humor made our lives richer. She truly loved animals and liked to spoil her sister’s dogs any chance she could. Having a green thumb, any plant thrived under Toni’s care. Toni was very creative and loved fashion and design. Everyone who knew Toni knew that she loved treats, most especially chocolate! Her neighbors at River Oaks loved her spirit and big heart. Toni spent time writing poetry and journaling.

Toni is survived by her father, Donald Fitzgerald, her beloved son, Harry (Abby) Fitzgerald and her dear granddaughters, Clara and Lauren; sisters Katie (Rod) Nakagaki, Bridget Mikkelson, Veronica Hindt; brothers Edward (Diane) Fitzgerald, Daniel (Patty) Fitzgerald and numerous cherished nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Andrea Fitzgerald and brother-in-law, Mike Hindt.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville with visitation starting at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025. Coffee and desserts will be served in the church basement immediately following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to River Oaks of Watertown, MN, St Croix Hospice or to the donor’s choice. A private interment will be held at a later date.
