I have been in touch with Toni since we worked together in the ER in 1992. She has always been an inspiration in medicine and in life. The fact that someone with her medical knowledge and unending vitality could succumb to this, leaves me lost. I can only imagine how it has left you, her family. Tony was a force of nature, and I am sure she has passed that force to you and will continue to guide you in all that you do. The world was a better place for having Toni Bark. I hope her light shines down on us as we will always have so much of her to be inspired by. It's just so sad we don't get more. Peace, and strength and Love to you.

To all of us who she touched:
Hamakom Yenachem Eschem Besoch Shar Avelei Tzion Veryerushalayim. May God comfort you amongst the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

It is hard for us humans to quantify the extent of lives Dr. Toni saved by her advocacy and being vocal on this issue. May all the good that she did, both what is apparent to us as humans and the tremendous impact she had on so many lives that only God can account for, stand as a merit for her soul. And may her soul continue to advocate for all of us impacted by this tyranny from it's place in the next world.

May you take comfort in knowing that Dr Toni saved so many lives in fighting the cause and helped so many people who were suffering.

Dear Ayal and Dave, I am so sorry for your terrible loss! Toni was one of the most energetic, enthusiastic people I have ever met and it's hard to believe she is gone. I will always admire her confidence, creativity, and life-force, her ability to be amused, and to constantly re-make herself while building on what she knew. We haven't seen each other much since we moved to Oregon, but we've kept in touch here and there. She helped me with a treatment over the phone and saved my gallbladder, and I saw her at the lake last year and she was her hilarious, inimitable self, inspecting me to make sure I still had my bootie. I have great memories of the early days with the boys--of you, Ayal, and my son Malachi, playing at our house almost every day--and memories of dancing with Toni at a Moroccan restaurant, boys in tow, out too late.
