Our father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and coach to all passed away early Monday morning (09/20/21) at Mission Hospital. Tong had a brief battle with cancer and in his final days he was surrounded by his family, friends and beautiful heartfelt messages from students and colleagues alike. Known to most as “Coach Lee” and the master of the BBQ Pit, he will be dearly missed. Tong was a hard-working, sports fanatic and loved his 30-plus year career at Laguna Hills High School. A tribute in his honor is being planned for Sunday, October 3rd at 4pm at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club, a favorite place of his. When he wasn’t visiting his children and granddaughters, you’d find him there with his best buds playing a round of golf and enjoying his favorite hour…Happy Hour. We love and miss you Dad, Habi, Coach!
