He then married Eileen Jesser (Keith and Tanya Jesser, Eileen's children) in 1983 for 4-5 years, was with Bertha and Family (3 Sons) in California and Family around 1992 for 7 years, and later married Rowena (Vicki) Santos in 2003, showing his ability to love deeply and unconditionally.
His favorite pastimes included spending quality time with his family, fixing and building things, and enjoying the serenity of the golf course and the casino.
A Chamorro man, he enjoyed foods such as barbecued meats and fish, Chamorro meat and fish dishes, Chamorro peppers, Finadenne, steak, fish, sashimi, and the comforting simplicity of tea and water. Tomas also had a penchant for Guamanian songs, a variety of other music, TV shows, the news, and some movies, and he enjoyed the colors burgundy and green.

He worked at the Piti Power Plant until he had his first heart attack when he was 39 years old and his first open heart surgery. Ten years later, he had his second open heart surgery at around 49 years old. He passed away at 78 years old. He would have been almost 79 years old in a little over a month from July 24, 2025.
Tomas's life was an embodiment of family life and work and projects at home. His greatest achievements were raising his families, providing wise advice about life, and his ability to create and build with his hands. His legacy lives on through his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and an extended family that loves him dearly.
In our hearts and prayers forever, Tomas Diaz Santos's absence will be deeply felt. Yet, we find solace in knowing that his spirit and teachings continue to guide us in the journey of life. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life and the things we have learned in our experiences with him.
