Thomas's obituary

Thomas John Pfeffer, 73, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on December 11, 2022 unexpectedly following surgery.

Tom is survived by his children Jennifer (Matt) Waite, Lindsay (Jeff) Beck, and Ashley (Robert) Magill-Collins, and his 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Mark (Julie) Pfeffer,  sister Mary Kay (Jerry) Miles,  countless nieces, nephews, and friends.  Tom was predeceased by his parents, Helen (Cronin) and Robert J. Pfeffer, along with brothers, Robert and Chuck, and his sister, Barbara Smith.

Tom was born in Detroit, MI. He was a graduate of Northwood University, where he became involved in the auto industry. He was often a great reference for all of our car inquiries!

He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, love of being on the water, fishing with grandsons, and was an avid hunter in his younger days.

Tom was passionate about his Grandkids, making the trip to Charleston, SC for Thanksgiving each year.  He would of course bring along his favorite sidekick, his dog, Brutus

Memorial gatherings are still being organized and will be shared on this site as soon as possible.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, an organization Tom cared for.
