Tom was loved and will be profoundly missed by his children; Andrew, Adam, Aaron, and Ashley Himes. He also leaves a sister, Lynette, whom he enjoyed spending quality time with at home. A brother kevin ,whom he loved dearly. Also his father Eddie Himes. A man , from whom Tom learned many life lessons.Tom was predeceased by his beloved mother, Linda Shelton, whose memory he held close to his heart.
A man of simple pleasures, Tom's joy could be found in a cold can of Pepsi, his favorite drink, or while watching cherished movies like 'Beaches', 'Hocus Pocus', and 'The Rose'. A devoted gaming enthusiast, Tom cherished his time playing Anno 1800, often winning with a strategy only he could master.
Known for his affable personality, Tom was terrific to be around. His favorite color, blue, was a testament to his calm and comforting nature. He loved his cats, particularly his fluffy companions, Whizzy and Fuzz Butt( picasso).His care for these creatures underlined his gentle spirit and compassionate nature.
Tom was an honorable Marine Corps veteran, a noteworthy accomplishment which he carried with great pride. His life was a beacon of discipline and resilience, mirroring the lessons he shared with those around him: always treat everyone with respect and do the next right thing.
Ultimately, the legacy Tom leaves behind is a testament to his life. A life filled with honor, discipline, forgiveness, and family. He was a source of unconditional love and infinite wisdom in our lives. His radiant smile and lively charm will be deeply missed.
