Background
Over the past three years, I have been the primary caregiver for my father, Tom Christ, due to his debilitating cancer diagnosis and other medical issues, while maintaining a full-time job. Unfortunately, this led to my unemployment for four months, during which time I struggled to make ends meet. Thankfully, my life partner, friends, and family provided invaluable support, enabling us to persevere. Presently, I am preparing to return to work, aiming to alleviate the financial hardship affecting my family of five. Regrettably, my father did not have life insurance, leaving outstanding bills. This fundraiser aims to address these expenses. My father's passing has been devastating, and I am struggling to cope with the loss, but I am seeking professional help and support to navigate this challenging time.
