Background
The family of Tom G. Begay is seeking donations to cover funeral expenses.
Tom was 93 years old at the time of his passing. He was surrounded by his family when he took his last breath on this side of life. He will be missed by his wife, Elsie, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Even in his older age, he loved to work on his jewelry. He had been making Navajo jewelry for over 40 years before his passing. His jewelry went international when his grandchildren decided to help him sell his jewelry on Instagram [tom.begay.jewelry].
Tom's hobbies included watching Wrestling on TV. He used to wake up early and wait for the bus to come to pick up his grandchildren. He loved driving into Gallup to eat at several eateries with his wife and grandchild/caretaker Jacy. He used to make the world's best salsa (at least according to his family). He used to cook for the entire family when they came home from work. Going to rodeos and pow-wows was a favorite pastime.
