I first met Toby when we were in our 20s in living in New York City. We had a lot of fun! Then we reconnected in California after I moved back, and he had been living here for sometime. He was such a proud dad and husband. He glowed when he talked about his family. Sending love and strength to Min and Peter, his mom and Miranda, too! May his memory be a blessing!

I’m so sad whenever I realize dear sweet Toby is no longer with us. I’m heartbroken to know that Peter will not have his wonderful Dad present as he grows up. Toby was so thrilled to be his father. Deepest sympathies to Min and Peter.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I often think about when Toby, me and Mike holmgren had motorcycles and we rode behind my parents house. And how we used to play catch with the diamond from Hot Rock. Toby would go crazy because if it broke his father would have been so pissed. Fairfield country day was great years for all of us. Sorry we didn't stay in touch all these years.

I was shocked and devastated to hear about Toby's passing. He was a good client and a lovely person to share a story with too. He often talked about his family after we finished the business at hand. May His Memory Be A Blessing To All Who Knew Him.

I was devastated to hear this news. Toby was a great friend and colleague on several TV series. We met regularly to compare notes on our various editing projects and update each other with news about our families. Toby would visibly glow when he talked about Peter and Min. He clearly loved them both with all his heart. Such a terrible loss to everyone who knew him, especially his family. So sad! ❤️

I am DEVASTATED to learn just today of my darling friend Toby's passing!!!!!  I am in shock!!!!! He was one of my touchstones being there for me through difficult times such as my father's death. He was such a kind, gentle, brilliant, humble soul. He was a true gentleman and will always remain a part of my heart. My deepest condolences go out to his wife Min and their son and his mom and sister.  Rest in peace sweet Toby.  G-d bless you.

I just learned of Toby's passing.  I was so sorry to hear.  As chair of the film program at Maine Media, I was honored to enlist Toby to teach his art and craft to a new generation.  He was a real pleasure to work with and his students very much enjoyed the experience of studying with him. My sincere condolences to his friends and family. He will be missed by many.

I can't believe Toby is gone. He was generous and brilliant, and I'm grateful I got to know him in the last few years.  My condolences to his family and friends.  I will miss him.

Toby you will be missed and always remembered by your Salisbury brothers. 

It was great to see you at our 40th reunion in 2022. It was fun to catch up about old times and also hear about your wonderful LA life with Min and Peter. You were so engaged and proud.

Toby was always so kind to us.  We treasured sharing London Christmases and seeing him on trips to LA.  Seeing his bond with little Peter was always very special, particularly the way the two of them could communicate with just a glance.   Love to Min, Virginia, Peter, Miranda and family.

Toby was just such an amazing, kind and loving uncle to my sister and me - quick with a compliment or words of encouragement, which were always very meaningful to us as we grew up. We always looked forward to visiting with him -  he always brought  such fun and a playful sense of humor to whatever the occasion. He was a huge part of our family and we will miss him so much.
