Tobie George Ledet, 59, of Metairie, LA and Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on February 22, 2023, after a short illness.

Tobie was born on January 17, 1964, to the late June Anderson George and Julian William George in New Orleans, LA.  Tobie was also predeceased by her brother Michael G. George.

After graduating from Mount Carmel Academy, she went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and later a Registered Nurse  where she found her calling working in the NICU. She married her best friend, Marcel Ledet, and they became the loving proud parents to Cory Ledet.  After living most of their lives in Metairie, Tobie, Marcel & Cory retired to Colorado Springs, CO. Tobie's love for her husband and son were beyond measure and she devoted her life to loving and caring for them both. 

 She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Marcel Ledet, son Cory Ledet, sisters Lisa George Thibodeaux (Alan) and Lori George Herman (Frank), sisters-in-law Cecile Ledet Steele (Mark) and Theresa Ledet LeBlanc (Lorin), along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends & family members.

There are no services planned.  The family invites you to privately celebrate Tobie's memory.
